It takes a comprehensive effort to bring holistic, sustainable change. We have developed a variety of initiatives aimed to address all areas of need in the Amazon, from faith and spiritual growth, to community development and economic sustainability.
The Adopt-A-Village Initiative is a self-sustaining program built around the hope and power of the local church. Our strategy gives us the opportunity to liberate villagers’ hearts and minds of the restrictive value systems, beliefs, and practices of the region.
Through volunteering your time and sacrificing your bodies to do the work needed, you can change both your life and the lives of the Amazon villagers. We accept people of any age and for however long you wish. All it takes is a willing heart to do God’s will.
This is our largest event of the year and we’d love to have you join us! We invite our entire congregation to this event and are planning for 60 villages and 2,500 villagers in 2016! This is truly a unique event that is unmatched throughout the world.
Every year, we have 4 seminary gatherings that develop our pastors and leaders in 14 different discipleship areas. We also have 4 ministry-specific conferences that help the villagers flourish in their callings!
The Christmas Toys ministry is our 2nd largest evangelistic outreach of the year. As a next step of the Congreso, we commit to visiting every village that attends. This serves multiple purposes and helps our organization grow at an unprecedented rate!
We pride ourselves on providing authentic and transformational experiences for our missionaries! While participating in an internship, you will live and travel with Jorge Montero, his team, and any team from abroad as we continue to expand our ministry.
